HAI LONG OFFSHORE WIND PROJECT

SCROLL

ANCHOR PROJECT

Localization of Internationalization - joint force with local suppliers to form the “National Team” to enter the “International Cup”

New Technology

New Technology

Hai Long is introducing Siemens Gamesa's flagship wind turbine — SG 14-222 DD to its wind farms in Taiwan. The height of this 14 MW wind turbine is equivalent to that of the Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store in front of Taipei Main Station and it is the state-of-the-art technology on the market. This partnership with Hai Long will also enable Siemens Gamesa to expand its investment in Taiwan and upgrade Nacelle 1.0 in Port of Taichung to the one and only full nacelle assembly factory in the APAC region, with double the land area and number of employees.

Collaboration

Collaboration

Throughout the life cycle of the project, Hai Long aims to work closely with local suppliers and stakeholders. The good collaboration with Taiwanese suppliers, service providers and government authorities are a testament to Hai Long’s willingness to create value locally, while adhering to the highest international standards for quality and safety. By building a green energy supply chain, Hai Long aspires to be a catalyst for Taiwan's industrial transformation and lay a solid foundation for a sustainable economy.

Talent

Talent

In addition to introducing foreign professionals, Hai Long is also committed to cultivating local talents. The establishment of a diversified talent pool in each stage of the project — preparation, construction and operation — will develop Taiwan into an APAC Offshore Wind Export Hub for new technology, services, and talents.
